AK Claims is an informational website. We collect as little information about you as possible. This page explains what that means in practice.

Information you choose to send us

If you email us at hello@akclaims.com or use the contact form (which simply opens your own email program), we receive your name, email address and whatever you write. We use it only to read and reply to your message. We do not sell it, rent it or add you to a mailing list.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request) for security and troubleshooting. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics that count visits in aggregate without building advertising profiles. This site does not use advertising trackers.

Cookies

This site does not need cookies to work. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first.

Links to other websites

Our guides link to government agencies and other outside sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Sensitive information

Please don't email us policy numbers, claim documents, medical information or government ID numbers. We don't need them, and email isn't a secure channel for sensitive data.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete any email correspondence you have sent us by writing to hello@akclaims.com.

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above.
